Before you go

Fuel stops are few, so fill up in Ademuz. Corners all the way and hardly any traffic. Teruel's old town at the end is worth the stop.

Which way round

South to north: the drop to the river at Santa Cruz de Moya first, then the long climb up the Turia valley to Teruel.

When it’s open

Normally open all year, though snow can close it for a day or two.
